Patricia Henderson, RN & Breast Health Champion
ABOUT PATRICIA
Patricia Henderson, is a registered nurse and Breast Health Champion ™. She is a Florida native and currently lives in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was raised in White Springs, FL. Patricia earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Valdosta State College.
After losing her mother to breast cancer in 2011, Patricia advocated for health and wellness even more, specifically breast health. Her mother’s illness ignited her purpose. Patricia immediately became a healthcare advocate stressing the importance of preventive care and self-breast exams.

Naturally, Patricia wondered what her chances were of being diagnosed with breast cancer after her mother’s passing. Unfortunately, on April 28, 2017, her mom’s story became her’s—cancer came for her, and she relentlessly went after it, with her strength, her mom’s strength and most importantly, God’s supernatural strength. After several doctor’s appointments, surgeries, and ceaseless prayers, almost one-year later in April of 2018, Patricia was declared cancer-free!

In October 2020, Patrcia founded “Tricia’s Tea Time,” a social media platform (via Facebook), in which she actively promotes health, preventative care, and provides community support. Additionally, in fall of 2021, Patricia embarked on a literary journey to authorship and she released her debut literary work, In the Midnight Hour, Keep H.O.P.E. Alive!” a memoir chronicling her breast cancer survival journey.

She is now on a personal mission to share her story and educate others.

When Patricia isn’t advocating and encouraging others, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and simply relishing in being alive to tell her story!

Patricia has been happily married for 26 years to Charles Henderson. They have three handsome sons and three precious grandchildren.
